An analog-modelled synthesizer built for playable aggression.
Oscillique's voice was measured from analog hardware, control by control, and rebuilt as software that keeps what made it sound alive: a resonant ladder filter, a drive with real feedback, and oscillators that behave like circuits rather than formulas.
On top of that voice, Oscillique adds what the hardware never had:
Every sound it makes is checked against a reference model of the engine, so what you hear live is exactly what it renders.
Oscillique is in development for Windows. A step sequencer is planned next. There is no release date yet.
Thudit by Dirl Audio, powered by the Oscillique engine.
Thudit is a free drum and kick renderer that runs in your browser. Shape a kick with eight controls, lock it to your track's key and tempo, and download it as a WAV. No installation.
Then hear the same kick rendered by the full Oscillique engine on our server, side by side with the browser's version, and download that too. The browser runs a lighter version of the engine; the full render is the real thing.
Thudit launches with kicks first, including a ping kick struck from Oscillique's ladder filter. A full kit follows. It is in development; there is no launch date yet.
A small sketch synth, running right here in the page: one oscillator through a low-pass filter. It is not Oscillique, just proof that this ticket can play. Click a key, or type A S D F G H J K.

Dirl Audio is an independent audio software company. We build instruments whose sound is measured, not guessed: every stage of our engine is modelled against real hardware and proven, bit for bit, against its own reference before it ships. Our first instrument, Oscillique, is in development, along with Thudit, a free drum and kick renderer that runs in your browser. Get in touch at hello@dirlaudio.com.
